15. Do not, under any circumstances, open the housing
of the appliance. This can result in electric shock.
16. Check the appliance, the plug and the power cord
regularly for wear or damage. If there is damage to the
power cord or other parts, please send the appliance
or the base to our customer service organisation for
inspection and repair.
Instructions for safe handling of the appliance
17. The appliance must always be switched off and dis-
connected from the mains supply before removing or
replacing attachments.
18. Only use the appliance in a mixing bowl that is stan-
ding on a flat work surface. Do not, under any circum-
stances, operate the appliance next to hot surfaces.
19. Do not, under any circumstances, operate the appli-
ance on hot surfaces.
20. Do not, under any circumstances, use the appliance
if only one attachment is mounted or if two different
attachments are mounted.
21. Ensure that the power cord is not pinched or does not
hang over the set-up surface and work surface, as this
can cause accidents.
22. Use the appliance only after it has been properly
assembled.
23. When fitting on the attachments, ensure that they are
firmly seated.
24. Do not, under any circumstances, operate the appli-
ance without ingredients to mix. This could damage
the motor.
25. Do not, under any circumstance hold tools, cutlery
or body parts in the rotating attachments: Danger of
injury!
26. Ensure that long hair or loose clothing does not get
into the attachments.
27. The appliance is suitable only for the processing of
foods.
