Probable Cause
Temperature controller set too high.
Unit plugged into incorrect power supply.
Temperature controller defective.
Unit not allowed enough time to preheat.
Temperature controller set too low.
Drawer(s) not closed completely.
Temperature controller defective.
Thermostat set too high.
Unit plugged into incorrect power supply.
Thermostat defective.
Unit not allowed enough time to preheat.
Thermostat set too low.
Lid not closed completely.
Thermostat defective.
Unit not plugged in.
Unit not turned on.
Circuit breaker tripped.
Power I/O (on/off) switch defective.
Temperature Control defective.
Heating element burned out.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

ELECTRIC SHOCK HAzARD: Turn OFF power switch,
unplug power cord, and allow unit to cool before
performing any cleaning, adjustments, or maintenance.
Change temperature controller to a lower setting.
Verify with qualified personnel that power supply
matches unit specification.
Contact authorized Service agent or Hatco for
assistance.
allow unit 15–20 minutes to reach operating
temperature.
Change temperature controller to a higher setting.
make sure all drawers are closed completely.
Contact authorized Service agent or Hatco for
assistance.
Change thermostat to a lower setting.
Verify with qualified personnel that power supply
matches unit specification.
Contact authorized Service agent or Hatco for
assistance.
allow unit 15–20 minutes to reach operating
temperature.
