o If the deep fryer is not used regularly, it is recom-
mended to store the oil or liquid fat after cooling in
a container, preferably in the refrigerator or an-
other cool place. Open the lid and remove the bas-
ket. Filter the oil or fat through a fine sieve into the
container to remove food particles from the oil or
fat.
o If the deep fryer contains solid fat, allow the fat to
solidify in the deep fryer and store the fat in the
deep fat fryer. Please refer to chapter on frying
with solid fat for more details.
o Please do not touch the power plug and power
cord with wet hands.
o Please do not immerse the appliance into water or
any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never
place it in the dishwasher.
o Empty the fryer and clean the inside of the oil tank
with a paper towel, then wipe it with a wet cloth
dipped in soapy water. Wipe with a damp cloth
and allow it to dry.
o Warning: Never immerse the heating element in
water and do not clean these parts under running
water.
