CHECKING THE CALIBRATION

Embedded in the protective cap there are 4 contacts, two are marked with 'B' and two are
marked with 'T'. The contacts can be used to test the function the device.
- Push the ON switch (ON /SET) to turn the
device ON.
- Remove the protective cap.
- When both prongs are held against the
contacts marked 'T' the displayed value on
the left scale should be 19%±1.
- When both prongs are held against the
contacts marked 'B' the scale on the display
should blink. If the above tests are passed
the moisture meter is ready for use.
- Refit the protective cap onto the device.

USING THE MACHINE

SWITCHING ON/OFF

- Press the ON switch (ON / SET) to turn the
machine ON. The measuring scales and
the temperature appear on the display.
- Press the LED switch for approx. 3 seconds
to turn the LED light ON.
- Press the LED switch again to turn the LED
light OFF.
- The device automatically switches OFF
approx. 30 seconds after the last
measurement has been made or the LED
light has been switched OFF.
Ensure that the switches OFF after use. Remove the batteries from the device if you do not
use it for an extended period of time.
