5. Installation
Customer service will set up, install and present the
device ready for operation.
You should leave changes on the installation or

setup only to customer service because of the
associated hazards.
If you have previously moved the device, let it
❍
stand still for 2 hours to allow the oil filling to
distribute itself uniformly.
Make sure that the following requirements are
❍
met before using the machine; the safe and
flawless operation depends on them!

a)
Requirements on the electrical connection
–
The supply voltage must match the
specifications on the type plate.
–
The supply line must be fuse-protected in the
building using a ground fault circuit
interrupting (GFCI) switch (max. 30 mA).
b) Requirements on the installation location
The device may only be used in closed dry rooms

and not outdoors! Humidity and temperature
effects may impact the function and safety.

The setup area must provide at least 10 cm
additional space in the rear because of heat
development.
–
The device must be level. Adjustable bases are
available for alignment on slightly uneven
surfaces.
c)
Requirements on the personnel
–
Adjustments, cleaning and setup on the device
may only be performed by the installer or by
persons instructed by the manufacturer.
–
Any repair and maintenance work may only be
performed by customer service or by professional
personnel authorized by the manufacturer.
–
The device may only be operated by persons
familiar with the generally common care when
handling heat-generating household appliances.
The device may not be used unsupervised or
without instructions by children or persons unable
to safely use the device because of their physical,
sensory or mental abilities or their lack of
experience or subject knowledge.
d) Requirements on the operation
–
The regular cleaning activities must be
performed as described in these instructions.
–
Apparent malfunctions or damages must first
be inspected by customer service and possibly
be serviced before the device may be used
again.
–
The inspection legally required by commercial
operators of the system every 4 years by an
authorized professional for proper condition must
be performed and documented. This can be done
by customer service and certified (no additional
inspection is required before the initial startup).
