• Press OPEN/CLOSE button (24). The CD tray (20) closes and the CD is read.
• Afterwards, the device automatically sets the CUE mark at the starting point of the music of the first track. The
CD player switches to pause mode. You can now start playback.
The CD cannot be ejected in play mode. This makes sure that the playback is not interrupted uninten-
tionally. Before pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button (24), stop playback.
c) Insert USB Memory
• Insert the USB storage medium into the USB input (25).
Due to the great variety of systems with USB interfaces and their different functions, some of which are
producer-specific, we cannot guarantee that all media will be recognized and that all the operational fun-
ctions are available on this device.
Only use FAT32-formatted storage media. The input securely supports external hard drives up to a capacity of
320GB.
Switch off the CD player or switch to CD/SD playback to remove or replace the USB storage.
Never remove the USB storage from the USB socket during playback. This may destroy the stor-
age.
d) Insert SD Card
• Insert the SD card into the card slot (26) until it locks audibly. SDHC cards can also be used.
If you want to remove the SD card, press slightly onto the SD card until you can hear an audible
unlocking sound. The SD card can now be removed.
Switch off the CD player or switch to CD/USB playback to remove or replace the USB storage
card. Never remove the SD storage card from the SD card slot during playback. This may destroy
the SD card.
e) Selecting the Playback Source
• Use the CD/USB/SD (21) button to select the signal source to be played back.
f) Play/Pause
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE
• The time on the display is running. The starting position of the track is automatically saved as a CUE mark.
You can stop playback in two ways:
• Press the button PLAY/PAUSE
• During playback, press the CUE button (11). The device returns to the CUE mark and pauses.
