3.4 SWITCHING ON THE MACHINE
ATTENTION!
•
Never switch on the motor before tensioning the sanding material!
•
Never switch on the motor unless the sanding drum is raised off the floor!
•
This machine should only be used on wall sockets with protecting contact!
•
Never allow the machine to run unattended and always pull the mains plug out of the socket once you
have finished working!
Push the green button of the switch on the guide tube. Do not start the motor until you are sure that the sanding drum is
lifted up from the fl oor. If the motor should have diffi culties in starting at extremely cold conditions, take of the v-belt.
3.4 SWITCHING OFF THE MACHINE
To switch off, raise the sanding drum off the fl oor by actuating the lowering lever and push the red switch button. Wait
until the sanding drum comes to a standstill before replacing the machine down onto the sanding drum.
ATTENTION!
Never allow the machine to run unattended and always pull the mains plug out of the socket once you have
finished working!
3.6 EMPTYING THE DUST BAG
ATTENTION!
To avoid fi re or explosive damage, always remove the dust bag from the machine following sanding and empty the
contents into a non-combustible container!
Seal this container with a non-combustible cover and always store both the container and the dust bag in the
open!
The dust bag must be emptied when one third full at the latest. Otherwise, suction performance will deteriorate as the
fi lter surface becomes clogged.
When emptying the dust bag, a respiratory protection mask P3 must be used.
