1.2 DANGER WARNINGS

ATTENTION!
• When working with power tools and machines, the following danger warnings and general safety re-
marks must be observed at all times in order to protect against electric shocks and danger of fire and
injury!
• Read through the danger warnings and general safety remarks carefully and instruct your employees or
colleagues accordingly. Failure to comply with this requirement could result in danger of injury!
• In order to avoid injury caused by the sanding material, the machine may never be switched on when tilted
backward.
• Use only tools, accessories and spares intended for the PROFIT supplied by LÄGLER. Use of other parts
can result in damage to the machine, to the floor you are sanding, or injury to the machine operator. No
warranty cover exists for parts sourced from other manufacturers!
• Ensure that the dust bag is correctly attached in order to prevent the unnecessary release of dust. This
contaminates the environment and constitutes a health hazard to operating personnel.
• Incorrect transportation will result in damage to the equipment.
• To avoid fire or explosive damage, always remove the dust bag from the machine following sanding and
empty the contents into a non-combustible container! Seal this container with a non-combustible cover
and always store both the container and the dust bag in the open!
• Keep well away from sources of fire!
Do not smoke when there is dust in the atmosphere (e.g. while working with the machine or emptying out
the dust) this could cause a dust explosion!
• The mains connection cable must be kept out of the work area in order to prevent mechanical or electrical
damage.
• UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES put the power cable around the neck or other body parts (MORTAL
DANGER)!
• In order to prevent any chance of the machine being unintentionally started up, the power supply must be
cut off when the machine is switched off by unplugging from the mains!
• To protect yourself and the machine against faults in the main power supply it is advisable to use a safety
switch (for german mains supply product no. in section " Spare parts").
• When the unit is operated correctly, the prescribed dust limit values are adhered to. When emptying the
dust bag, we recommend wearing respiratory protection mask P3 (product no. in section "Spare parts").
