3.1 PREPARING THE MACHINE FOR OPERATION

The figure on page 2 shows the most important assemblies which make up the PROFIT. We recommend that you
take some time to become familiar with the machine.
For transport purposes remove the guide tube (C). Before starting to sand, stick the tube into the hole of the hous-
ing and fasten it by tightening the wing nut (E). Then put the rod of the lifting fixture (D) into the bore hole of the
lifting bracket (G) and secure it with the patent closure.
Fit the cable support (K) to the provided bracket (L) and securely tie the dust bag to the end of the guide tube.
Now put the switch into the bracket on the right side of the guide tube.
Insert the plug of the motor cable into the coupling of the extension cable and fasten the strain relief ring to the
extension cable. Then hook the ring into the cable support.
