slightly and hold. Pull steering column
cover (2) downwards and remove.

Insert cover (1) into dashboard (2) from
below. To do this, first fit the cover in the
area of the dashboard and then press it
into the final position.
Make sure that guides (3) are correctly
positioned inside the black cover and
inside the dashboard. The snap-in
hooks (4) must engage in wing (5).
14.18 Fuses
Fire hazard!
Never bypass the fuses with wire or
foil.
Never use a fuse with a value that
differs from the specified rating
(ampere).

If a new fuse blows within a short
time, an electrical fault (e.g. short
circuit) is the probable cause.
A specialist dealer should be

Remove plug-in fuses (1). Visually check
whether wire (2) in the plastic is damaged
(burnt through).
Replace the fuse if wire (2) is damaged.
