Risk of injury!
The mowing blade must be
replaced if notches or cracks are
detected, or if the specifications
contained in the section "Checking
the wear limits" are exceeded.
Checking the balance of the mowing
blade
Insert a screwdriver 1 through the central
bore.
When mowing blade (2) is properly
balanced, it must balance in the position
illustrated.
Risk of injury:
If the mowing blade does not
balance, the procedure
"Sharpening the mowing blade"
must be repeated until the blade is
balanced.
The mowing blade may only be
balanced by means of sharpening
back or cutting.

Installing the mowing blade
Risk of injury!
Before installing, check the mowing
blade for damage (notches or
cracks) and wear.
Worn or damaged mowing blades
must be replaced.
Replace the retaining washer each
time the blade is installed.
Additionally secure the blade
fastening screw with Loctite 243.
Observe the specified torque when
tightening the blade fastening
screw, as the secure attachment of
the cutting tool depends on this.
● Install the mowing blade with the curved
edges/vanes pointing upwards
(towards the mowing deck).
Attach mowing blade (1), screw in blade
fastening screw(2) with retaining
washer(3) (observe convexity of retaining
washer) and tighten to the specified
torque.
Tightening torque for blade fastening
screw:
65 - 70 Nm
14.8 Checking the installation position
of the mowing deck
Maintenance interval:
Every 50 operating hours or as required
(e.g. following severe impacts to the
mowing deck or a poor cut).
Uniform tyre pressure is a
prerequisite for checking the
correct installation position.
Therefore check the tyre pressure
of all the tyres and adjust if
necessary before checking the
installation position. (
The mowing deck is in the correct
installation position when it is slightly lower
at the front than the rear.
● Park the machine on level ground.
● Stop the engine. (

● Engage the parking brake. (
● Remove the ignition key and keep it in a
safe place.
● Select the lowest cutting level. (
