7 Slide the harness loop to the control handle
(7) and tighten the clamp screw to 35 inch-
pounds

8 Slide the spacer sleeve to the harness

9 Loosen the screws on the front handle and
slide it onto the drive tube (9)

10 Push and rotate the internal drive shaft until
it seats into the powerhead (10)

Unpacking and Assembly
11 Remove the attachment locking screw/
washer on top of the string trimmer
attachment (11)
12 Loosen the clamp screw on the string
trimmer attachment Push and rotate the
string trimmer attachment until it couples
with the drive shaft (12)
13 Rotate to locate and align to the hole in the
drive tube Insert the attachment locking
screw/washer and tighten to 60 inch-
pounds
WARNING:
locking screw must be in place and tightened
properly.
14 Tighten attachment clamp screw to 60
inch-pounds (13)
15 Align and adjust the front handle for a
comfortable working position and tighten
the clamp screw to 50 inch-pounds (14)
Reposition as needed
