DSP – equalizer (digital sound processing)
Turn the multi-controller
ROCK M, POP M, FLAT or DSP NONE. In the setting DSP NONE, no equalizer is
activated. The DSP equalizer setting is shown on the right of the display
TA – traffi c announcements (traffi c radio)
Turn the multi-controller to perform the following settings:
TA SEEK: as soon as the reception signal for traffi c announcements becomes
TA ALARM: as soon as the reception signal for traffi c announcements becomes
PI – programme identifi cation (acoustic signal during station
search)
The programme identifi cation code (PI) is a transmission identifi cation code
which is used while searching for alternative frequencies, among other things.
It consists of a 16-bit number code which allows a positive identifi cation of the
station.
Turn the multi-controller to perform the following settings:
PI SOUND: station search with sound.
PI MUTE: the sound is muted during station search.
RETUNE (search times for stations with PI identifi er)
Turn the multi-controller to perform the following settings:
RETUNE L: the search process for a station with the correct PI identifi er runs for
RETUNE S: the search process for a station with the correct PI identifi er runs for
MASK (hide certain stations)
Turn the multi-controller to perform the following settings:
MASK DPI: Conceals the AF stations which have a diff erent PI identifi er.
MASK ALL: Conceals the AF stations which have another PI identifi er and all
