Keep the A/PS button
and stops for about 5 seconds at each station found. The station indicator
and/or the station frequency fl ashes and the memory slot is displayed. The
search continues automatically when weak stations are found.
Browsing through the stored stations
♦
Press the A/PS button briefl y. All saved stations for the current memory
level are played briefl y.
♦
When you hear the required station, press the A/PS button.
The current station remains selected.
General CD functions
NOTE

Dampness and high humidity can cause the CD player to malfunction. In
this case, switch on the vehicle heating to dissipate the dampness before
using the device. Do not subject the device to any extremely high or low
temperatures.
Anti-shock function (ESP - "electronic shock protection")
The device is equipped with an anti-shock function. This function serves to com-
pensate for vibrations, for example on uneven streets, and to provide an uninter-
rupted playback even when the device is subjected to movement. When the
device is switched on, the memory automatically fi lls with data:

with audio CDs for 10 seconds;
■
with MP3 CDs for 75 seconds.
Inserting and removing CDs

Press the
automatically forward.
♦
Push the CD into the CD slot with the label side facing up.
♦
Lock the control panel back into place by folding it upwards. Playback of
the CD begins. CD PLAY appears on the display.

To remove the CD, open the control panel again. Press the
The CD will be ejected. The device switches to radio mode.

Immediately remove the CD from the CD slot. If an ejected CD is not re-
moved within approx. 10 seconds, the device will draw it back in; however,
playback of the CD will not start.
