Thank you for purchasing this boso blood pressure measuring system. The

This device has undergone our strict quality control procedures and will be a
reliable partner in monitoring your patients' blood pressure.
Please read this manual carefully before using the system for the first
time, because blood pressure measurements can only be taken properly if the
system is used correctly.

Important information is highlighted by the symbol.
Please contact your specialist supplier or the manufacturer for help in prepa-
ring for first use, using the device or maintenance (contact details are given
on the inside back cover of this manual).
Notify the manufacturer immediately of any unexpected operational status
or any event which has or could have caused damage to health.

In accordance with the Medicinal Products Operator Decree, metrology tests
(see page 36 must be conducted at regular intervals when the system is used
in a medical context.
The boso Carat synchro blood pressure measuring system is suitable for
patients with an upper arm circumference between 16 and 48 cm (see p. 25
for cuff sizes).
It is not suitable for infants. The boso Carat synchro system allows you to
measure blood pressure on both arms at the same time, and therefore to find
out in which arm blood pressure is higher, and the difference between the
sides.
