3.1.2/ Descending for 2 persons minimum
Note: This product must not be used by more than 1 person at time.
1/
The user hooks the descender device in a suitable anchor point. Don't forget to lock the
carabiner.
2/
The user launch the rope in direction of the descent.
3/
The user hooks the descender device to the harness of his colleague, and lock the carabiner.
4/
The rope can pass on the knot to have a better braking for the descent.
5/
The decent can start. The user stays on the evacuation platform maintain the rope to add
security.
6/
At the end of the descent of the 1
start the descent.
Note: Attachement on anchor device
Improper attachement on an anchor device may lead to falls resulting in severe injuries or death.
• Inspect the anchor at least once a year.
• Only use anchors that correspond the requirements of PPE.
Buildings and plant structure have to present appropriate load capacities. According to the applicable standards the following (static) stress loads
are installed in the building.
• Restraint systems 4 kN
• Fall protection systems 12 kN
The anchor point can be installed by a competent person, however, we recommend installation by an authorized professional. This person is
fully accountable for the documentation of the installation and initial acceptance by the building or facility owner/manager.
