Carefully read these instructions before installing this device and putting it into operation. It is recommended to have
the installation carried out by a qualified person. The manufacturer will not accept any liability for damage caused by
installation not in accordance with the instructions or by improper installation. Check the status of the device and the
mounting materials as soon as you have unpacked them. Carefully remove the device from the packaging. Do not use
sharp knives to open the packaging.
Draw the vertical axis line (V) of the hood and the chimney. The height between the bottom of the wall-mounted hood
1
and the hob is: for gas: min. 65 cm; max. 80 cm - for induction: min. 75 cm; max. 80 cm for
all other energy sources: min. 65 cm; max. 80 cm. The horizontal line (W) will therefore be drawn at the height
(h) + 106 mm from the work surface. Position the electrical socket (S) close to the vertical axis line.
Position the upper-side of the suspension bracket (B) on the horizontal line (W). Place the centre of the mounting
2
bracket on the vertical axis line (V). Mark and drill the holes, screw the suspension bracket (A) gently in place with the
supplied plugs and screws (C).
Make sure the 3 brackets are level using a spirit level. Fix the bracket by drilling a third hole and securing it with plug (B)
3
and screw (C). Check all screws are screwed tightly.
Take the upper bracket (D) (from the box containing the hood) and screw it to the two
4
brackets (E) of the carbon filter kit 10 mm from the ceiling, centrally with respect to the axis, using
the screws (C) and plugs (B).
Assemble the noise damper (G) with the supplied screws (F) onto the upper bracket (E).
5
Attach the angle bracket (H) on top of the hood with the supplied screws (F). Screw on.
6
Hook the hood over the bracket (A). Keep this supported until the hood has been attached to the wall
7
using the angle bracket (H), plugs (B), and screws (C). Ensure the hood hangs centrally
with respect to the vertical axis line. Place the spacer (I) 100 mm above the angle bracket (H).
Place exhaust tube (O) on the outlet pipe using the supplied aluminium tape (M 906-292) or
8
clamping ring (N 906-291). Stretch the exhaust tube (O) up to the inlet of the noise damper (G) and fasten.
Measure the distance X, cut a piece of insulation to this size and attach it around the exhaust tube (O). Remove
the grease filter (L) from the hood and put the plug into the socket.
Slide the uppermost chimney out of the lowest (Q) and turn it around so the grille is at the top. Push the uppermost
9
chimney (R) back into the lower chimney (Q). Place the insulation (P) around the exhaust tube (O). Attach the chimneys
(R and Q)
onto the suction part. Screw the chimneys under the filters via the sump using the
screws (F), clip the chimney over the spacer bracket (I).
Pull the innermost chimney (R) out until it reaches the ceiling and fasten with the supplied
10
stainless steel screws (S).
Mounting the Monoblock filter
Remove the Monoblock filter (D) from the filter holder (A). Press the lock spring (B) lightly together between your
A
thumb and index finger to unlock it.
Open the lower plate and remove the grease filter from the hood. Take the Monoblock filter holder (A) and place it in
B
the hood by releasing the spring on the hinge side of the lower plate and fasten with 6 screws (C).
Put the Monoblock filter (D) back in the Monoblock filter holder. Close the lock spring (B) by squeezing it together and
C
securing it in the slot provided.
Put the grease filter (E) back in the hood. You can re-open the lock spring(s) by squeezing them together and pulling
D
them rearwards.
