This document represents a supplement to the existing installation and operating
instructions.
This document describes the installation of the flush-mounting box with adhesive
flange in the dry-lining installation. The installation and operating instructions are the
result of application-related testing in collaboration with PCI Augsburg GmbH and
are recommended!
Before carrying out any work, you should agree the working steps that span various
trades with the installer, dry-liner and the tiler, in order to prevent any incorrect instal-
lation and finishing. In this regard, you must take into account the product and
manufacturer's instructions for the execution of planned dry-lining, sealing and
wallcovering materials.
Proper installation uses the following AQUAFIX cross-members:
- for one shower fitting with recessed wall mounting Order No. 91-0039 00
- for one shower head Order No. 91-0038 20
The adhesive flange is made from a thermoplastic (ABS). Only cold adhesives must
be used.
The ZDB information sheet "Composite sealing - instructions for the execution of
liquid composite sealants with cladding and surfaces made from tiles and panels for
indoor and exterior use" must be observed for the preparation of alternative surface
sealing.
