It is forbidden to run it inside the piping of air feed systems or channels. It is also prohibited to make moving or fixed
openings on the flue for the connection of other different devices.

5.1. CHIMNEY CAP

The flue draught also depends on the suitability of the chimney cap.
It is therefore indispensable that the outlet cross-section be twice the internal cross-section of the flue when making
the chimney cap by hand. As it will always rise above the roof ridge, the chimney cap must also ensure exhaust even
in the presence of wind. (see Picture 9)
The chimney cap must meet the following requirements:
•
The internal cross-section must be equivalent to that of the chimney.
•
The useful outlet cross-section must be twice that of the internal cross-section of the flue.
•
It must be constructed in such a way as to impede the penetration of rain, snow, or any foreign body into the flue.
•
It must be easy to inspect for any maintenance and cleaning operations.

1) Flue in AISI 316 steel with double chamber insulated with material resistant up to
400° C. Efficiency 100% excellent.
2) Flue in refractory material with double insulated chamber and external covering in

3) Traditional flue in clay, square cross-section, with air gaps. Efficiency 80%
