Placing out of service and cleaning
Attention!Only clean the valve parts in the sink when the outlet of the
sink is closed. Parts can be lost.
Cleaning the paint roller and paint pipe:
•
Switch off pump
•
Remove paint pipe from device
•
Plug cleaning adapter onto paint pipe
•
Connect cleaning adapter to tap and hold tight.
•
Rinse through paint pipe until pipe is clean (Figure 9)
Cleaning the tank:
•
Empty remaining paint back into paint container, wash tank
Cleaning the paint cylinder (Figure 10):
•
Remove paint cylinder from roller arm by releasing catch
•
Unscrew covering cap with suitable tool
•
Remove paint cylinder and clean thoroughly
•
Remove seal from roller arm and clean
Cleaning the pump (Figure 9):
•
Remove filter.
•
Push paint pipe onto pump inlet.
•
Push cleaning adapter onto tap and hold tight, rinse through.
Dismantling and cleaning pump (Figure 11 and 12):
•
Remove pump from upper part of device.
•
Turn fixing sleeve to the left and pull off pump (Figure 11). (If the piston
falls out, put it in again).
•
Clean the pump parts (Figure 12). Let parts dry.
•
Apply a few drops of oil to the inlet and outlet valve and to the O-
ring on the piston. (No silicon grease / silicon oil).
