You have two (2) options. You can either log in with your username and password to save all your
measurements into your account or do a "fast checking" which will enable you to take an instant
measurement without saving the data.
N.B.: We recommend to log in so you that can access the mandatory validation process and ensure
your probe gives accurate readings.

Validation

The app is configured to request for validation of your probe 24 hours after your last measurement. If
your probe was already validated within the last 24 hours, you will not be prompted to validate your
probe.
However, you can validate your probe as often as needed. To do so, please select the "validation tab"
at the bottom right of the screen:
The app will then connect to the probe via Bluetooth and will check the battery level.
If above 3.5 V, the validation process will go to the next step.
The app will then ask you to confirm that the felt tip is humid. Press the felt tip onto a piece of white
paper. You should see a spot if your felt tip is humid. Press confirm if the felt tip is humid.
The next step is to look at the cleanliness of the felt tip. The felt tip should be white. If contaminated,
you should replace it with a brand new felt tip and confirm.
You can then proceed to the final validation process. First, use the NEGATIVE validation plate. Make
sure the probe is still on (blinking blue), then place both the felt and metal tip on the NEGATIVE
validation plate. Your reading should be negative. If so, the app will let you go to the next step which is
to take a measurement on the POSITIVE validation plate. Make sure the probe is still on (blinking blue),
then place both the felt and metal tip on the POSITIVE validation plate. Your reading should be positive.
Then you can SEND your validation results to the database through Wi-Fi.
Make sure you remove the electrolyte solution left on the surface from the felt tip using a clean cloth or
wipe and SURFOX-N™ cleaner.
