Guidelines to follow prior to service startup
If possible, store the packaging material or discard it in accordance
with the waste disposal directives in force.
Before service startup, be sure to verify whether the device has not
undergone any damage during transit. Any recognizable
transportation-related damage on the outside (e.g. to the case) must
be immediately relayed to the shipping company and your distributor;
should such a case arise, do not connect the device to the network!
Position the device on a stable and dry surface. Ensure sufficient
ventilation. Overly soft surfaces, like foams or rugs, must be avoided
due to the disturbing effect on device ventilation.
Risk of short-circuiting in the event humidity enters into the device!
Protect the device from humidity and maintain far from high-risk zones. The
interior part is to be protected from splashes. However, in order to avoid working
accidents and device downtime, be sure to keep the workplace clean and dry.
