General
Intended use
The BiSens Agido-3V product protection sensor extends the
protection of an awning equippedwith a BiConnect radio remote
control. The product protection sensor will cause the awning
(and a Valance, if there is one) toretract if the drop profile is
strongly "shaken" by wind or other influences. Misuse or changes
to the sensor may lead to hazards and/or damage and are not
permissible. Prohibited changes to the product will result in
voiding of the guarantee claims. The BiSens Agido-3V product
protection sensor requires no special operation apart from
opening the sensor to change the battery, if necessary, to adjust
the sensitivity level.
Please decide at the site of installation whether it is possible to
do without a conventional sun/wind or sun/wind/rain sensor.
Please note that, in very changeable weather, fall (i.e. sharp
downward) winds and gusts cannot always be reliably detected
by all of the available sensors. In these weather conditions we
recommend awning beforehand and switching off the automatic
sun control if installed.
• Deactivate the BiSens Agido-3V on an awning with manual
(crank-operated) Valance Plus if there is a risk of damage
occurring due to the awning retracting automatically while
the valance is still open!
General stipulations for radio installations:
• Please note that radio installations may not be operated in
areas exposed to a high risk of interference (e.g. hospitals,
airports).
• Please note that the remote control or the sensor is only
permitted for devices and systems if there is no danger of
personal injury or damage to property in the event of a
malfunction of the handheld transmitter, the sensor or the
receiver, or if this risk is covered by other safety devices!
