Exercise 4: Stopping the ball (Fig. 4)
The ball is kicked in one of the ways described in exercises 1 to 3. As it
bounces back, stop the ball with the inner foot and bring it to a stop as
quickly as possible.
Exercise 5: Keeping the ball high (Fig. 5)
Hold the expander strap approx. 80 cm from the ball with a hand (the
free strap length depends strongly on your body size and the desired
ball height when the ball is kept high). You can now easily kick the ball
upwards alternately with your right and left foot. Variations are also
possible. The expander strap is used to guide the ball during this exercise,
making it much easier to keep the ball up.
Exercise 6: Ball guiding (dribbling) (Fig. 6)
Hold the expander strap approx. 1.5 m from the ball with a hand (the free
strap length depends strongly on your running speed and the desired ball
vicinity when running). You can now kick the ball forwards alternately
with your right and left foot. Variations are also possible. The expander
strap is used to guide and control the ball during this exercise, making it
much easier to dribble.
Exercise 7: Goalkeeper training (Fig. 7)
The ball is kicked in one of the ways described in exercises 1 to 3. In this
case, you can vary the height of the ball as it bounces back by varying the
height of your shot however you want. Alternatively, you can also throw
the ball hard. Catch the ball with both hands as it bounces back.
Exercise 8: Throwing training (Fig. 8).
Take the ball with both hands behind your head. Now throw it with both
hands over your head. You can do whatever you want with the ball when
it bounces back, as described in exercise 4 or exercise 7, but also kick it
away again as shown in exercises 1 to 3.
