TROUBLESHOOTING

FAULTS
EN
UVC lamp is not
switched on
Muddy water
If there is insufficient
water coming out of
the pump:
If the pump stops
working:
CAUSES
Absence of mains voltage
The plug is disconnected from the socket.
Protective device pivot might have been
damaged during maintenance operations.
The UVC lamp is improperly installed into
the light fixture.
Defective UVC lamp.
Filter overheating
Size of the filter used may be
Inappropriate for the filtering
requirements of the pond
The quartz tube is dirty.
Worn-out UVC lamp
The pump suction nozzle is locked or
connecting hoses are overtwisted.
Absence of mains voltage
The plug is disconnected from the socket
Insufficient water level
The rotor is blocked

METHODS OF TROUBLESHOOTING
• Check the mains voltage.
• Check the power supply.
Connect the plug to the socket.
Replace the device.
See section V, paragraph а, clause 6.
Replace the UVC lamp.
Disconnect the plug from the socket and
wait minimum 30 minutes, then connect
the device to the power supply again.
Contact a qualified installation
technician.
Clean the tube, following instructions in
section V, paragraph b.
Replace the UVC lamp, following
instructions in section V, paragraph а.
• Check that the pump intake is clean and
without any obstructions
• Check that there are no kinks in the
connected tubes
• Check that the pump is correctly
powered
• Check the power line
Connect the plug to the socket.
Make sure that the water level is not too
low. The intake tube of the pump must be
below the water level both on submerged
and external applications
Check that the rotor doesn't have any
obstructions
