The pumps for counter-current (or counter-pressure) swimming plants, can be installed in a separate room
close to the swimming pool, taking into account the following rules:
- power supply protected by a high-sensibility differential current protection-device (called
SALVAVITA®), that is to say with nominal differential current lower or equal to 30 mA.
- Electrically protected water pipe or having the same electrical potential of the swimming-pool.
- Inspection grate opening by a proper wrench or tool.
Volume 2:
The equipments (electrical sockets, switches..) are allowed if in accordance with the following power supply
specifications:

2.0 Technical Characteristics

2.1 General rules

- Install far from a direct source of heat, in a place where room temperature range from 0° C and 45° C.
- Install in an airy spot, in a rather accessible place for maintenance operation.
- Install the apparatus at a maximum distance of 1,5 m from the tank containing the chemical product to
dose. Make sure to provide a non-return valve on the suction pipe line to avoid any possible water back-flow.
- Do not install the pump above the tank in case of aggressive exhalation of the utilized chemical product
(unless the tank is hermetically sealed).

2.2 Standard power supply

230 Volt AC 50-60 Hz single-phase.

2.3 Electrical connection

Before each installation verify that the earth-wire is properly and safely connected to the ground, as per the
norms at present in force; also verify that the electrical network is equipped with a differential current
protection device, to protect the whole installation in case of voltage variation.
Verify the electrical data compatibility between pump and electrical network, before installation.

2.4 Warnings and suggestions

The present packing have been studied in order to reduce as much as possible the needed operations
before installation of the apparatus.
The pump have been calibrated by the Manufacturer, basing on the most popular parameters herewith
listed:
- The pH regulation was fixed by the Manufacturer in order to keep pH level at 7,3.
- The pump was calibrated by the Manufacturer in order to dose an acid product.
In case the mentioned calibration meet your needs, you do not have to remove the front panel in order to
regulate the pump.
