2. If necessary, remove the used batteries and dispose of
them in an environmentally friendly way.
3. Insert four 1.5 V batteries of the AA type. Pay attention to
the correct polarity (+/–).
4. Place the battery compartment cover back on the battery
compartment and screw it on tight.
• Replace the batteries when the power of the device starts
to wane.

Changing the Roller

CAUTION!
■ A damaged / worn roller can cause injuries to the skin and
must be replaced.
■ Make sure that the device is switched off before changing
the roller.
1. Press the eject button. The roller fl ips out of the holder in
the device.
2. Remove the roller.
3. Unpack the new roller and press it into the holder in the
device. It must engage audibly.
