LAP BELT ONLY

• Figure A illustrates a forward-facing,
lap-belt installation.
• When not in use, lower connectors
MUST be stored by connecting them
together and tightening the strap
against the back of the child restraint
shell.
WARNING!
• This child restraint MUST be in full
upright position when installed
forward-facing position.
• Always use the top anchorage strap
with forward-facing position.
1. Place the child restraint in the
forward-facing position on the vehicle
seat.
TIP: You may need to raise or remove the
vehicle head restraint (if approved by
vehicle manufacturer) to achieve best fit
of the child restraint.
2. Unroll the top anchorage strap and
place it up and over the child
restraint back.
3. Pull the vehicle belt out, then pass it
through the forward facing belt path.
(Below the support bar) (Fig. B & C).
TIP: Turning the back of the child restraint
toward you can make routing the vehicle
belt easier.
