4. Pass the lower connector strap
through the forward facing belt path.
(Below the support bar)
5. Attach the remaining lower connector
to its adjacent vehicle LATCH anchor
(Fig. D).
6. Push the child restraint firmly into the
vehicle seat while pulling lower
connector strap tight (Fig. E).
7. Attach the top anchorage connector
to the vehicle's designated tether
anchor for the chosen seating
position. Remove all slack from the
top anchorage strap to secure. Store
excess webbing by rolling it up and
use the Velcro strap to secure the roll.
8. Verify that the vehicle belt is tight and
the child restraint is secure.
• The child restraint is secure when it
cannot be moved front- to-back or
side-to-side more than 1 in. (2.5 cm)
at the belt path. If the child restraint
is not secure, repeat the installation
process or use an alternate seating
location.
