• Figure A illustrates a forward-facing
lower LATCH installation.
• Verify that your vehicle is equipped
with LATCH anchors. If LATCH anchors
are not available, you MUST use
vehicle belt installation methods or
use an alternative seating location.
WARNING!
• This child restraint MUST be in full
upright position when installed

• Always use the top anchorage strap in
forward-facing position.
1. Press and hold the lower connector
strap adjuster release button, then
pull the lower connector strap to full
length. Repeat for the top anchorage
connector strap.
2. Place the child restraint in the
forward-facing position on the vehicle
seat.
TIP: You may need to raise or remove the
vehicle head restraint (if approved by
vehicle manufacturer) to achieve best fit
of the child restraint.
3. Attach one lower connector to its
adjacent vehicle LATCH anchor (Fig.
B).
