Before installation, please read and follow these instructions. Incorrect installation may lead to serious injury.
Disconnect all power cables to be installed! Take precautions against unintentional switching on! The product
must be installed, maintained and dismounted by a skilled person according to the relevant regulation. An all-
pole mains switch shall be incorporated in the electrical installation of the building to provide simultaneous
separation of at least 3 mm for all phases from the supply.
Somfy cannot accept any liability for defects and damage caused by failure to follow these instructions. Please
keep these instructions for future reference.

MOUNTING
For exact determination of wind and bright-
ness direction the Weather Station must be
mounted in north alignment (N).
The place where the sensor is installed might
have an impact on the measured values.

The weather station must always be installed
upright, not horizontal or in an angle
As the device works without moving parts, i.e. wear-free, only a minimum of service work is required.
Depending on the location, the device may become dirty. The device should be cleaned with water and a soft
cloth.
During storage, assembly, disassembly, transport or maintenance of the Weather Station, ensure
that no water enters the unit or plug.

WIRING
Use rigid cable.
If a hole has been drilled in the mast during in-
stallation of the unit to fit the cable through,
the cable may be damaged by sharp edges.
The cable for connection of the weather sta-
tion must be suitable for permanent ourdoor
use and compliant to the relevant standards.
