9. Electrical Connection

- The cabinet must be protected upstream by means of a thermomagnetic omnipolar automatic
switch, of suitable characteristics, which also works as main knife switch in the line.
- The operator must know the switch position in order for it to be readily accessible in case of
EMERGENCY.
- The electric system must be grounded.
- First of all, make sure that the power supply voltage is the same as that indicated on the nameplate
400V / 50Hz three-phase (Fig. 2).
- In order to guarantee regular operation, the maximum voltage variation must fall between +/-6% of
the nominal value.
- Make sure that the electrical cable is laid in a way which ensures that it cannot be damaged and
does not cause the risk of accidents for persons.
- Make sure the power supply line is wired with cables of adequate cross-section and under no
circumstances lower than 2.5mm², and is protected against current overload and grounded in
conformity with current laws.
- For power supply lines that are longer than 4 - 5 m, increase the cable section accordingly.
- In the event of a power failure, make sure that all the electric appliances in the shop can be re-
started without activating the over-current protections; if not, modify the system so as to differentiate
start-up of the various devices.
- The installer should provide the anchorage for all the cables entering and leaving the cabinet.
- The thermomagnetic automatic switch must not open the circuit on neutral without also opening it on
the phases at the same time and, in any case, the opening distance of the contacts must be at least
3 mm.
N.B.All these operations must be carried out by specialised technical personnel only.

- Temperature probe: NTC IP67 L=4000 code 04510153.
- Probes S1 - S3 must be blocked with clamps and must not be insulated.
- Probe S2 must be secure in contact with the 3rd and 4th pipe (never at the level of the fan) using the
stainless steel bulb holder spring code 02230021.

11. Temperature control (Fig. 4)

Control of refrigeration temperature is carried out using the mechanical thermometer (Rif. 5) and on
the CAREL IR33 electronic controller display (Rif. 4) at the bottom of the cabinet.
The electronic controller is normally set in the factory during the testing phase; it is possible, if
necessary, to vary the temperature in this way:
