Press button II (the smaller one) to enter the menu for selecting the shock sensitivity. Press
button II again to scroll through 8 levels and the 8 corresponding tones. The higher the pitch of
the tone, the higher the sensitivity.
TESTING THE SENSITIVITY
1) slap the bonnet with the flat of your hand to simulate an intruder. The alarm should beep
once to warn off the intruder. Start the entire programming procedure again if no beep is
heard.
2) slap the windshield with the flat of your hand to simulate an intruder trying to break the
windshield. The alarm should beep once to warn off the intruder. Start the entire
programming procedure again if no beep is heard.
3) The alarm should go off for real (ding dong) if the shock the vehicle is subjected to is
sufficiently severe.
Important remark : The sensitivity is too low if you only hear a beep after a severe shock; the
sensitivity is too high if the alarm goes off full tilt after a mild shock. Place the
sensitivity in the minimum position required to effectively protect your vehicle.
LEAVING THE PROGRAMMING MODE
Simply press button I to exit the programming mode and save the sensitivity level. Two beeps
confirm the setting. The device automatically leaves the programming mode if no button is
pressed for 10 seconds.
C. Choosing the alarm tone – 5 tones and 1 multi-alarm tone
After disarming the alarm you have 10 seconds to enter the programming mode for the alarm
tone. Hold both buttons simultaneously. A single beep confirms that the programming mode is
now activated. Press button I to select the various alarm tones (5 tones + 1 multi-alarm tone).
When you have found the one you want just press button II to leave the programming mode.
The last tone you've listened to has been programmed as your alarm tone. Two beeps confirm
that you have left the programming mode.
