5. Clean all accessory parts with water and dry them with a soft towel.
HOW TO REMOVE MINERAL RESIDUES
In order to guarantee excellent coffee flavor and to maintain high machine perfor-
mance, mineral residues should be removed every 2-3 months.
1. Fill the water tank with water and descaling agent up to maximum level (MAX).
Water and descaling agent should be at a ratio of 4:1. Use a common household
descaling agent.
2. Insert the portafilter into the machine (without ground coffee) and place a
container underneath the steam tube. Heat up water as described in the section
"Preheating".
3. As soon as the coffee display shines steadily, the machine is preheated. Turn
the control knob to the
