• Ensure that the espresso machine is
placed on a flat, non-heated surface
and that there are no open flames in
near proximity.
• Make sure that the power cord does
not hang loosely over the edges of a
table or the worktop. Moreover, the
power cord must never be close to or
in contact with hot machine parts or
other sources of heat.
• Do not operate the espresso machi-
ne if the power cord or power plug
are damaged. Have them replaced
by a certified repair service.
• Never operate the espresso machine
with an empty water tank.
• Do not remove the portafilter while
the machine is running.
• Do not use any accessory parts
which are not recommended by
the manufacturer of the espresso
machine.
• The ambient temperature for
operating and storing the espresso
machine must be higher than 0 °C
because the water contained could
otherwise freeze and thus damage
the device.
• Do not operate the espresso machi-
ne outside.
• The espresso machine is only inten-
ded for use within the household or
for similar purposes, e.g.
• in office kitchens for employees
of stores, offices and other com-
mercial areas;
• in agricultural holdings;
• for guests to use in accommo-
dation facilities (hotels, motels),
bed and breakfasts or holiday
homes.
• In case of failure to comply with the
instructions on proper use or if used
incorrectly, Springlane GmbH does
not assume liability.
