5.4. Pipetting Mode (P)

The pipettor performs ordinary pipetting with blow-out.
1. Press to display
2. Press to confirm the mode change.
3. Select the desired pipetting volume by pressing
and to decrease the volume.
Note: When holding down the
display starts to scroll faster.

5. Position the tip to aspirate and press either of the START buttons.
6. Position the tip to dispense. Press either of the START buttons. The
tip is emptied with a blow-out and is ready for the next pipetting.

5.5. Multi-Dispensing Mode (d)

The XL performs repetitive dispensings of a selected volume. During
this operation, the desired volume plus an automatically selected
excess volume is aspirated into the tip. The excess volume is
needed to ensure equal operating conditions for each dispensing.

2. Press to confirm the mode change.
3. The volume and number of dispensing aliquots appear in the
display. If this mode has been used before the previous settings
appear in the display. Press
