3. Product description

The WMS 800 is a floater-based mechanical low water level protec-tion system for sealed
heating systems designed to protect the boiler firing system. If the water level in the boiler
drops below a minimum value, a switch is activated by a floater. This switch interrupts the
power supply to the boiler firing system. A lock prevents autonomous reactivation. The
test button lets you lower the float and simulate a water shortage.
A WMS 800 version without an interlock is available for releasing directly at the control
cabinet.
Water level limiters are mandatory as of 300 kW in accordance with EN 12828. However,
their installation is generally recommended for all systems, especially in central heating
systems located under roofs.
The WMS 800 is designed for continuous operation.
