Permit, approval, registration
The WMS 800 is VdTUEV-tested; component marking TÜV.HWB.11-232. The WMS 800
is VDE-tested and complies with the EMC Direc-tive (2004/108/EC), the Low Voltage
Directive (2006/95/EC) and the Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC).
5. Assembly and commissioning
CAUTION
Risk of accident due to incorrect installation
Install the WMS 800 in an upright position.

The pump must not influence the position of the floater in the WMS 800 (e.g., due to

excessive flow action or suction). See Figure 3, Page 8.
Shut-off devices that can negate the effect of the low water level protection system
f
are not permissible

CAUTION
Permanent damage to the sensor part due to welding on the sensor part.
Do not weld on the sensor part.

Unscrew the welded fitting from the sensor before welding.
Install the WMS 800 in parallel in a vertical section of the supply pipe as shown in

Figure 3, Page 8.
Install the WMS 800 in the boiler circuit upstream of the mixer.

The trigger level of the low water level protection system (see Figure 1, Page 6, No. 8)
f
must be at least 100 mm above the highest heated area of the heat generator.
