Conditions on site

Important
A high insulation resistance is of decisive importance for piezoelectric trans-
ducers. To maintain this resistance, all the connector connections have to be
kept thoroughly clean. Under no circumstances touch the connections (con-
nector face) with your fingers. The supplied cover should always be in place
when the connection is not in use.
Moisture and humidity or a tropical climate are to be avoided. When the con-
nection cables are properly connected or the protective caps screwed on, the
summing box protection class is IP65 as per DIN EN 60529 or IEC 60529.
Conductive dust must not be allowed to collect and form an electric connec-
tion between the enclosure and the connectors.
The summing box must be protected against chemicals that could attack the
aluminum of the enclosure.

Mounting

The summing box can be mounted with 2 screws. The installation position is
optional.
The summing box has an electrical isolation between the enclosure and the
shielding of the connected cables. So no isolating elements are necessary.
We recommend fixing the cables in place if there are strong vibrations and
constant movements, as otherwise the connectors could be damaged.
