Transferring music to your Hansgrohe RainBrain.
The Hansgrohe RainBrain includes a micro-SD memory card with a
capacity of 2 GB (less the memory used for the RainBrain operating
system).
You can fill this memory with your favorite music titles. (max. 300 titles)
There are 2 ways to do this:
1. Media transfer via Bluetooth
Pair your Bluetooth device (mobile phone, laptop) with the RainBrain.
• Turn your Bluetooth device on and set to pairing mode. Activate the Bluetooth
function on the RainBrain (see page 14).
• Add the RainBrain to the device from which you want to transfer the media
(refer to the user manual included with the device). Your device will prompt
you to enter the PIN of the touch panel (standard = 0000). Wait until the
connection has been successfully established. This pairing remains in place
even if the mobile phone or touch panel is switched off.
• You can transfer mp3s from any Bluetooth device to the touch panel. Transfer
via Bluetooth is not recommended for large amounts of music
due to the amount of time required. Transfer large numbers of files
directly to the memory card.
. Media transfer using the memory card
The 2 GB micro-SD card of the touch panel can be removed.
• Turn the electricity off at the main electrical panel.
• Remove the touch panel from the fixture (ill. 1).
• Place the end of a flat screwdriver in the notch on the bottom of the touch
panel.
• Carefully detach the touch panel from the fixture. The touch panel is secured
to the fixture with 4 clips.
• Loosen the cables on the touch panel.
• The memory card is located on the left side of the touch panel (ill. 2).
• Open the cover, press on the card to unlock it, and then remove the me-
mory card.
• Read and write to the memory card using the card reader on your PC
or laptop. You may require a micro-SD-to-SD memory card adapter (not
included).
Save your music titles (max. 00 titles) in the "Media"
folder only.
DO NOT DELETE OR ADD DATA TO ANY OTHER FOLDER.
Insert the memory card back into the touch panel (a click signals the card
snapping in), close the cover of the memory card slot and put the panel
back into the fixture in the reverse sequence used to remove it (ill. 3).
Media playback via Bluetooth (streaming)
The Hansgrohe RainBrain can stream music from your Bluetooth device.
• Pair the Bluetooth device and the touch panel (see above).
• Connect the Bluetooth device with the touch panel
• Select the external player in the music menu (see next page).
• Play the music on your Bluetooth device.
Depending on your specific Bluetooth device, you may be able to fast
forward and rewind or stop the music. Music titles will not display on the
touch panel.
