Problem
Aircraft tail control is intermittent.
Aircraft hovers with a circular
effect on its own
Aircraft appears to drift a certain
direction
Aircraft constantly spins or drifts
on its own
Aircraft has bad cyclic control
reactions (for example, forward
elevator input results in aircraft
flying sideways left or right)
Transmitter control stick blocked

Warranty and Repair Policy

Warranty Period: Exclusive Warranty- Horizon Hobby, Inc., (Horizon) warranties that the Products purchased (the
"Product") will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the date of purchase by the Purchaser.
Limited Warranty: Horizon reserves the right to change or modify this warranty without notice and dis-
claims all other warranties, express or implied.
(a) This warranty is limited to the original Purchaser ("Purchaser") and is not transferable. REPAIR OR REPLACE-
MENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER. This warranty covers
only those Products purchased from an authorized Horizon dealer. Third party transactions are not covered by this
warranty. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
(b) Limitations- HORIZON MAKES NO WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ABOUT NON-
INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF THE PRODUCT. THE PURCHASER
ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEY ALONE HAVE DETERMINED THAT THE PRODUCT WILL SUITABLY MEET THE REQUIRE-
MENTS OF THE PURCHASER'S INTENDED USE.

• S washplate anti-rotation pin is out
of the main frame bracket
• S tick gimbal moved up in
transmitter
• T ransmitter control may be
reversed and need adjustment.

• C onfirm tail motor connectors are
firmly seated
• R eplace tail motor.
• R eplace rotor blades
• R eplace rotor head linkage

• T ransmitter incorrectly set up
before binding to the aircraft.
Refer to Control Test
• C enter rudder trim and re-
intitialize aircraft
• R efer to Understanding Primary
Flight Controls
• Replace tail rotor blade (BLH3117)
• C arefully put pin of swashplate in
the bracket channel, high at the
back of the main frame
• D isconnect flight battery from
5-in-1 unit, power off the
transmitter and push in the
transmitter control stick until it
clicks.
• M LP4DSM transmitter, set the
rudder channel to normal
direction.
• S pektrum and JR transmitters, set
the rudder channel servo
reversing to normal.
• O ther radio systems using the
Spektrum DSM2 module, set the
rudder servo reversing opposite to
current setting.
