Diffuser
The hair, particularly hair which is straight and fine, will acquire an optimum
volume and set by means of perfect styling down at the roots.
• The hair should be dried well with a towel beforehand.
• Pull the concentrator off the hair dryer and push on the diffuser g in its
place.
• Now place the diffuser g directly on the scalp and move it with a quarter
turn, so that the hairs lie round the diffuser fingers.
• Switch on the appliance and work preferably with the gentle airstream
(mean power), 1.
• Allow the diffuser g to revolve slowly to and fro on one spot. In this way,
volume builds up from the roots of the hair during the drying process. As
soon as the first section of the hair is dry, continue in the same way with
other parts of the hair until all has been treated.
Styling for permed and naturally curly hair
Locate the tips of the hair directly in the diffuser g and switch on the
appliance.

For a particularly gentle drying operation, switch on the care position, 1.
Switching stage COOL
• To dry the back of the head, it is advisable to bend the head forwards and
downwards.
• To finish off, push the diffuser g right down to the scalp, so that the roots
of the hair are dried. This lends a longer lasting fullness and shape to the
hairstyle.

Hence, please observe the following safety instructions:
• Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the mains.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.

Danger of burns from hot appliance components!
Parts of the appliance can be very hot and cause burns even after it has
been switched off. Hence, allow the appliance to cool down fully without fail
before cleaning it.
Protect the appliance from dust, dirt and fluff. From time to time remove and
clean the air inlet grille with the air filter b. Remove the air inlet grille with
air filter b by pushing the release button at the bottom of the air inlet grille
in slightly and then pulling the air inlet grille out (see Fig. 1). Clean the air
inlet grille with air filter b (see Fig. 2). Every part needs to be dry prior to
assembly. To assemble, put the air inlet grille into the appliance with the top
two lugs at an angle and then snap shut (see Fig. 3). The air intake screen b
locks with a "click" (see Fig. 4).
