MAINTENANCE
Possible Cause

Clogged fuel filter
Engine will not idle properly.
Air filter clogged
Action
Set the stop switch to the start
position.
Adjust or replace the pawls.
Clean around the pawls.
Contact an authorized service
workshop.
Drain it and use correct fuel.
Adjust the idling speed with the T-
screw.
Make sure that the spark plug is dry
and clean.
Clean the spark plug. Check that the
electrode gap is correct. Make sure
that the spark plug is fitted with a
suppressor.
Refer to technical data for correct
electrode gap.
Retighten the spark plug
Replace the fuel filter.
Possible action
Drain it and use correct fuel.
Replace the fuel filter.
Adjust the idling speed with the T-
screw.
Clean the air filter.
