OPERATING PROBLEMS

There are some noises that it is quite normal for a freezer to make:
• The refrigerant gas can produce a gurgling sound as it travels through the circuits.
• The compressor may produce a buzzing noise, which can be more noticeable during start-up.
• The "cracking" noise produced by expansion and contraction of the materials used.
The appliance does not work. and Green Led is Off
The appliance does work. but green Led is Off
The freezer vibrates or is noisy.
The compressor runs continuoustly
The freezer gets too cold or not cold enough.
Too much ice on the upper edge
The freezer's bulb does not light.
The layer of ice on the internal waIIs of the appliance is not uni-
form
The compressor does not start after a change in the tempera-
ture.

ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS: when any maintenance work is being performed, ask that only certified origi-
nal spare parts be used.
PROBLEM
- Check that the plug is correctly connected, that the fuse
hasn't blown or that the circuit-breaker has not jumped.
- Check that the electric cable is intact.
- The green Led is not working. Contact the After-Sales Service
for a replacement.
- Check that it is level. Adjust the feet.
- Check that the freezer is not in contact wil the wall
- Has the packaging been removed from under the appliance?
- Have hot foods been put in the appliance?
- Has the appliance lid been left open for a long time?
- Is the appliance positioned in a very warm room or near heat
sources?
- Is the thermostat setting correct?
- Has the fast freeze function been pressed by mistake?
- Check the position of the thermostat and set it to a more sui-
table temperature.
- Check the door has not been left opened
- Are the defrost water drainage plugs correctly positioned?
- Is the appliance lid properly closed?
- Is the appliance lid seal damaged or deformed? (See chapter
"Installation")
- Have the 4 protection pieces been removed? (See chapter
"Installation")
- Check the bulb and replace it if necessary. If the problem per-
sists, check that your appliance is connected.
This phenomenon is quite normal.
This is normal; the compressor will restart after a certain time.
