4.
When the can is completely opened, the cutting action will stop automatically. To
remove the can, hold it with one hand and raise the lever with the other hand.
CAUTION: Avoid contact with the cutting edges of the can or lids as they are sharp,
carefully remove the lid from the magnetic lid holder and recycle.
WARNING: The cans opened with this can opener must be less than 600g or 1.3 lbs.
NOTE: Do not exceed 1 minute when using can opener continuously.
5.
The excess cord can be placed into cord storage at the back of the unit.
CAN OPENING TIPS:
1.
This appliance will open all standard size cans. It should not be used on cans that
have alternate methods of opening (including but not limited to pull-tabs, rolling key
and peel-off foil). The can opener should also not be used with rimless cans or cans
with angled corners.
2.
If there is a dent in the rim of the can, open other side or begin the cutting action
just beyond the dent. If the can opener stalls, use a light touch to turn the can to aid
the cutting process.
3.
Frozen juices or foods in cardboard cans should be opened as soon as they
are removed from the freezer. Aluminum lids will not stick to the magnetic
lid holder.
SHARPENING KNIVES
Unplug the appliance from the power supply before using the knife sharpener and then
place the knife in the blade sharpener. For best results, sharpen the entire length carefully
and pull the knife on blade sharpener with back and forth motion (see Fig. 4), until
desired sharpness is achieved. After sharpening, wash and dry the knife. The sharpener
can also be used for sharpening stationery scissors (see Fig. 5)

NOTE: Do not attempt to sharpen serrated blades, as this will smooth their edges.
BOTTLE OPENER
Unplug the appliance from the power supply before using the bottle opener. Take the
bottle and place the cap under the metal hook part of the bottle opener. Hold the can
opener with one hand. Pull down to pop the cap off with the other hand.
NOTE: Do not use this bottle opener for bottle with screw-off cap or pull ring cap.
