Welcome to BODUM
Congratulations! You are now the proud owner of a C-MILL
coffee grinder, the electrical blade coffee grinder from BODUM
Read these instructions carefully before using the coffee grinder.
COFFEE GRINDER
This BODUM ® coffee grinder is intended for grinding coffee beans
for domestic use only. Do not use to grind anything else as this would
damage the appliance. As with all electrical appliances, great care
must be taken with this BODUM
or damage to the appliance. Please read these operating instructions
carefully before using the appliance and observe the safety precautions.
People who are not familiar with the Operating Instructions must not
use the coffee grinder.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Danger! Electricity can kill!
The coffee grinder must never be brought into contact
with water or any other liquid: danger of short circuiting!
PROTECTION OF OTHERS
Ensure that children do not play with the coffee grinder. Children are
unaware of the hazards associated with electrical appliances.
ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
This appliance must only be connected to an a/c supply with a voltage
of 230 V/50 Hz. Minimum fuse protection of the socket outlet = 6 amps.
POWER CORD
Do not use the appliance if the power cord is damaged. Do not pull the
power cord over corners or against sharp edges. Do not run or hang the
power cord over hot objects and always protect it from oil. Never carry
or pull the appliance by the power cord. Never unplug from the outlet
when your hands are wet or by pulling the power cord.

LOCATION
Place the appliance on a level table or surface. Do not place or use the
appliance on hot surfaces or in the vicinity of a gas flame as this could
cause the housing to melt! Choose a location so that no extension cable

is necessary.
USE
When filling the appliance with coffee beans and emptying coffee
powder from the appliance, make sure the mains plug is disconnected
from the socket outlet! The device must never be in use for longer than
30 seconds as the motor could otherwise overheat: this could cause
damage to the appliance!
CLEANING
Disconnect the mains plug from the socket outlet before cleaning the
coffee grinder.
REPAIRS
Unplug the appliance immediately if it is defective or if a defect is sus-
pected after dropping or damaging. Never use a damaged appliance.
Opening the housing is strictly forbidden.
Return your coffee grinder to the nearest BODUM
examination, repair, or for electrical or mechanical adjustment.
Please strictly observe the safety precautions for your
safety and the safety of others.
