11. Cutting at 45°
CAUTION !
Before positioning the motor head make sure that:

The cutting tool is not moving.
-
The sliding carriage is locked in position.
45° CUT MAX DEPTH 80 mm
To make 45° cuts turn the head to the jolly position:

Using the 30 mm spanner provided, slacken the
motor head support bolt.

Incline the cutting head and tighten the support
bolt (photo 15).

Using the locking lever, secure the motor head
as shown in photo 16.

Position the workpiece on the working surface
and cut.

JOLLY (45 ANGLE) CUTS ON CERAMICS OR
ENAMELLED MATERIALS ARE MADE WITH THE
TILE FACING DOWNWARDS.
12. Laser marker
CAUTION !
CLASS IIIA LASER UNIT
635 nm, < 5 mW
Cutting can be speeded up using the laser marker.
The laser system used is able to indicate the tool's
cutting line on the working surface.
CAUTION !
THE LASER MARKER STARTS WORKING AS
SOON AS THE MACHINE IS CONNECTED TO
THE POWER SUPPLY.
TO PREVENT THE LASER BEAM SHINING IN
THE OPERATOR'S EYES THE LASER IS
SWITCHED OFF WHEN THE MOTOR HEAD IS
RAISED.
