LEARNING TO DRIVE THE PRODUCT
Operating a zero-turn mower is different than
operating a standard riding mower. Zero-turn
mowers are rear-wheel drive, and the wheels
operate independently based on the position
of the drive levers. Before beginning to mow,
operating the product using the instructions
that follow. Once you can comfortably and
reliably perform each of the manoeuvers, you
are ready to begin mowing.
When entering and exiting the mower,
both drive levers should be in the open
position (pushed away from the seat in
both directions).
Once seated and ready to begin, step on
the brake pedal to disengage the parking
brake.
Insert the start key, and turn the key to the
ON position.
Pull both drive levers all the way in toward
the seat. This is the neutral position, which
is used to start the mower and also to bring
the mower toa gradual stop.
Press the low speed drive button to limit the
speed of the mower.

operating the product. If anyone enters the
mowing area, stop immediately, and do not
return to mowing until the bystanders leave
the area.
Avoid sudden starts, stops, and turns, and

Push the drive levers forwards to move
the mower forward in a straight line. Push
the drive levers farther forwards to move
the mower faster. To slow down, gradually
move the drive levers towards the neutral
position.
Pull the drive levers backwards from the
neutral position to move the mower in
reverse in a straight line. Pull the levers
farther back to move the mower faster. To
slow down, gradually move the drive levers
towards the neutral position.
To make turns, the drive levers are not
moved together. One drive lever is in front
or behind the other, depending on the
direction of travel and the preferred turn
direction.
