• During the operation, the cutting disc cover
should be in place and the swinging protec-
tive cover should work as appropriate.
• Do not cut any material with asbestos or
magnesium content.
• Protect the disc from any blows, hits and
grease.
• Do not conduct the machine to the work
piece unless it is on.
• Keep your hands out of the reach of the
rotating disc.
• Sparks are produced by cutting metals. Look
out for nobody being at risk. No flammable
materials should be situated in adjacent area
■ CUTTING PROCESS, FIG. 2
• Insert the work-piece and fasten it with
clamping handle 5 (Fig. 2).
• Pay attention that the cut-off wheel does
not touch the work-piece when turning the
machine on.
• To turn on the machine, press the switch
lock button (2) and the on-off switch (3).
■ DIAGONAL CUTS: FIG. 3
For diagonal cuts, loosen both hexagon bolts A of the rear clamping jaw, adjust the angle, and tighten both screws again.
The clamping claw B automatically adjusts to the angle. To do this, please use the ring spanner (17mm).
■ QUICK CLAMPING LEVER: FIG. 4
The machine is equipped with a quick
clamping lever 8.
Move the lever 8 up, push the clamping
handle 5 forward to the work-piece, push
lever 8 down, afterwards lock the work-piece
using the clamping handle 5.
■ CUT-OFF WHEELS – REPLACEMENT FIG. 5 - 6
Attention! Pull out the mains plug.
Move machine head up, unfasten butterfly nut
C, move the cover plate B and flexible guard
10 up until the clamping screw of the cut-off
wheel is freely accessible. Press locking bolt
9 (fig.6)
Move cut-off wheel by hand until the locking
bolt locks in place. Unscrew the clamping
■ TRANSPORT. FIG. 7
Before transport, ensure proper functioning of the blade guard.
To do so, move the machine head down repeatedly - in this case the cover should be move beyond the saw blade from itself.
Transport Lock:
Head lock pin (12) will facilitate easier handling
at transport to various places of use .
Attention! Pull out the mains plug
Use the handle (4) for transport of the machine.
Check electrical connection cables regularly
for damage. Ensure that the connecting cable
is not attached to the mains when you are
checking it.
Electrical connecting cables must correspond
to the relevant VDE and DIN regulations. Only
(the reach of sparks).
• The disc jam results in the machine jerky
response. If that is the case, switch the ma-
chine off immediately.
• Do not ram the disc in the work piece and do
not put excessive pressure on the machine.
Avoid possible jam of the disc when working
in corners, sharp edges etc. If the disc gets
damaged in result of incorrect use, stress
cracking may form, which results in the disc
crack without any warning.
• Prevent the motor overloading, particularly
when working large pieces. Hold the hand-
grip with a light pressure only when cutting.
Wait until the blade reaches full speed.
Move the machine head carefully down-
wards to the work-piece.
• Ensure you have constant pressure while
performing cut-off grinding work.
• After the cutting switch off the machine and
move the machine head up.
Attention! Prior to the cutting process, always
check that the work-piece is correctly and
securely tightened.
Long work-pieces must be supported by a
dolly (rolling support) or similar.
After work completion, place the machine
screw by turning it counter-clockwise, using
the enclosed allen key. Remove the clamping
flange and the screw, mount the new wheel
and clamping flange, pay attention to correct
and neat position of the cut-off wheel, tighten
the screw slightly by hand, press the locking
bolt and fasten with the cut-off wheel spanner.
Machine lock (transport lock)
To transport the machine, place the machine
head
down and fix the locking chain (12).
Electrical connection m
use connecting cables with the code H 07 RN.
The type designation must be printed on the
connecting cable by regulation.
Faulty electrical connecting cables
Insulation damage often occurs at electrical
connecting cables.

Mind the size of the cutting disc. The hole
diameter should correspond to the machine
spindle without any free travel. Do not use
any adapters and transition pieces.
m Caution!
• After the machine is switched off, the cutting
disc will still be running out.
• The spindle lock should not be touched until
the disc stops completely.
• The cutting disc and the piece to be cut are
very hot when operation is going on. Do not
touch them before they cool down.
• Caution! The work-piece can get extremely
hot!
head in the lower position and pull out the
mains plug.
Mount the protective equipment and secure it
with butterfly wing.
Check the functioning of the protective
equipment.
Attention! Cut-off wheel bore diameter must
match the flange diameter.
Unlock the machine (working position)
Push the tool arm at the handle (4) of the po-
wer tool down to relieve the transport lock. Pull
the transport lock (12) to the outside and run
the tool arm slowly upward.
Causes include:
• Pinch points when connecting cables are run
through window or door gaps.
• Kinks resulting from incorrect attachment or
laying of the connection cable.
• Cuts resulting from running over the connec-
ting cable.
