Setting the timer
You have the option of selecting a cooking time, after which the hotplate automatically deactivates
(switches to standby mode).
1. Once you have selected the power level or temperature you want, push the TIMER button.
A signal sound will be emitted and 00:00 will appear on the display. The hour display will
blink.
2. Set the desired number of hours (0–4 hours) with the / buttons.
3. You can switch to the minute display by pushing the TIMER button again. The minute
display will blink.
4. Set the desired number of minutes (0–59 minutes) with the / buttons.
Please note: If the number of hours has been set to 4, then the number of minutes cannot
be set.
5. Once you have set the number of minutes, you do not have to push any other button. The
timer will automatically activate after approximately 5 seconds and the TIMER control light
will illuminate. The display will show the last setting (power level or temperature).
To show the remaining time on the display, push the TIMER button again. After approximately
5 seconds, the display will automatically switch to the previous readout (power level or
temperature).
6. Once the set time has elapsed, a signal will sound and the device will automatically switch
to standby mode.
• In timer mode, you can adjust the cooking duration, power level and temperature
at any time without affecting the other settings as a result. For this, push the
corresponding button (POWER / TEMP / TIMER) and then or .
• Quickly push the TIMER button three times in a row to prematurely abort the
timer. The TIMER control light will turn off.
Cleaning and storage
ATTENTION!
❐ Each time before cleaning the device, pull the plug out of the socket. The device must have
cooled off completely before you clean and / or store it.
❐ The device is not suitable for the dishwasher.
❐ Do not spray any cleaners directly on the device.
❐ Never submerge the device, the mains cord or the mains plug in water or other liquids. The
risk of electrocution exists.
❐ Do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners, rough sponges or knives to clean the device.
They could damage the surface.

disconnected!
